To date 103 have signed up for this tour ! This city tour is a great way to get an overview of this very diverse city. You will learn, “there is more than meets the Arch”. Visit the Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis whose interior is covered with 83,000 sq feet of mosaics, the largest such collection in the world. The next stop is Lacledes Landing; a nine block historic area whose old warehouses are home to many shops & restaurants set amongst cobblestone streets. No visit to St. Louis is complete without a stop at the 630-foot Gateway Arch, which is also home to the Museum of Westward Expansion. Take the opportunity for a tram ride to the top of the Arch or just relax and enjoy a film on how it was built. There will be time for lunch on your own at the St. Louis Station, an urban marketplace with several restaurants and shops. After lunch, there will be a visit to The Museum of Transportation which houses "one of the largest and best collections of transportation vehicles in the world". With over seventy locomotives, the Museum has one of the most complete collections of American rail power, and its collection of automobiles, buses, streetcars, aircraft, horse-drawn vehicles and river boat material reflects the ever changing nature of transportation. Please note: The cost of the Tram is $10 per person, and is not included in the price of the tour since it is not suitable for everyone. The tram ride is not wheelchair accessible, and is not recommended for those who suffer from claustrophobia or fear of heights. |

To date 100 have signed up for this tour ! Grant's Farm is a 281-acre wildlife preserve, and historical site located just south of St. Louis. This is St. Louis’ second most popular attraction, owned and operated by Anheuser-Busch. Grant’s Farm is home to hundreds of exotic animals from around the world. The tour begins with a tram ride through Deer Park to view up-close bison, elk, antelope, zebra & more. Besides the animals there are many other interesting exhibits and sites to see. The Farm takes its name from our 18th President of the United States, Ulysses S. Grant. In the 1850's, Ulysses S. Grant farmed a portion of this farm. The land, which later became the ancestral home of the Busch family, today is preserved as a living symbol of the family's love for animals and Anheuser-Busch's commitment to wildlife conservation and preservation.
