NAFTS Founding Father and our shipmate Passed away on October 18, 2011 at age 93 years. Bob started the NAFTS organization from a list of 30 "X" ATF sailors in the late 80's The first reunion was held in 1990 at Orlando Florida. Bob was President, Treasurer, Towline publisher and all rolled up in one! Pat, his wife and all of us "Old Time" members of NAFTS will miss him. He was the centerpiece of all reunions and attended them all as long as his body would let him. Bobs family hopes that any contributions will be sent in his name to VNA Hospice, 1110 Dutton Ave, Santa Rosa, CA 95401 or you may send them to the NAFTS Treasurer, R. Dana 221 Buland Dr. Castle Rock, WA 98611 who will gladly forward them.
