I served aboard the ARIKARA as a SK2 from jul 1961 to Feb 1963 and enjoyed the 2 deployments to the far east ports in Japan, Korea, Guam, Hong Kong, Phillipines, Tiawan, Christmas island and Midway. I finanlly retired in Oct 1963.
